FAQ'S

We thought we'd compile a list of a few frequently asked questions about how things work at Lindy Lou's. We hope you find these useful.

Got a question that isn't listed? Please do get in touch with the lovely Tracy in our admin department at admin@lindylous.co.uk who will be able to help you.

Are the classes pay as you go or do I book a term in advance?

Our classes are booked by half term, so when you join us you will be charged for the upcoming half term or classes - usually 5-7 weeks depending on that venue’s local school term dates. If you join us after the term has started, you will be charged pro rata for the remaining classes. You will then get priority booking for the following half term before classes are opened up to our waiting list.

Do you offer taster sessions?

We have a limited number of spaces in our classes to ensure a high quality session for each child and therefore we are unable to offer taster sessions. If you can’t make any sessions in a half term block these can be gifted to a friend who can come in your place. The only way to book a one off session is to book later in our half term, but this is subject to availability. Any other questions please let us know and we’ll be happy to help!

I can't make my usual class next week, can I attend a different class, or can I get a refund?

We cannot offer refunds, class credits or alternative class times for missed classes due to holidays, appointments, illness, self-isolation etc. However, we are delighted to be able offer our Gift A Class option - you can invite another child of a similar age to attend your Lindy Lou class, at your booked class time and venue. Simply message our office to give them details of the child attending in your place.

Is my place guaranteed for next half term?

All children registered on our classes will get priority booking for our next half term for your regular class time. To guarantee your place it must be paid before the priority booking window closes.

Does my child need to wear a uniform?

As long as your child is comfortable that is the main thing - there is no uniform at Lindy Lou's, but we do have T-shirts and hoodies available to purchase for our little fans!

Can I feed my child during class?

Food is not permitted during class. The only exception is milk for our babies and we encourage you to follow your baby's needs throughout the session.

Do I need to stay at the session with my child?

Yes - all our sessions involve the grown ups as much as the children and give you some quality time to share new and wonderful experiences with your child.

What do I need to bring to class?

We provide all props/instruments for our classes so you only need bring anything your child might need i.e., nappies, changing bag etc.

What time should I arrive at my class?

We welcome you into class 5 minutes before your class is due to start so that you can get settled.

Is there nappy changing and toilet facilities at your venues?

All our venues have nappy changing and toilet facilities, including a toilet seat insert for the little ones to use. We kindly request you take soiled nappies home with you.

What happens in bad weather conditions?

We endeavour to run our classes in all weathers as we have a lot of children who walk to classes. If our classes are running, we cannot offer refunds or alternative classes if you cannot attend. If we have to cancel our class we will give you as much notice as possible and you will be credited a class in your next block of sessions with us.

Where is best to park for my class?

Can I bring an additional child to my class?

If you have a younger sibling (excluding twins) they can attend the same class free of charge up to the time they are 18 months, at which point they will then be charged a reduced sibling fee at the beginning of each half term. Please do let us know in advance if you are bringing a younger sibling with you so we can add them to our register.

I have twins – do I need to book two places?

We welcome twins to our classes and our teachers are here to give a helping hand! Please get in touch with us to arrange booking for your twins. One will be charged full price and you will receive a half price discount for your other child. Both children will need to be added to our register with payment at the beginning of each half term.
